How women's brains are 'rewired' during pregnancy

Scientists at the Francis Crick Institute in the UK have discovered that female sex hormones, oestrogen and progesterone, play a crucial role in rewiring the brain during pregnancy. The hormones act on specific neurons in the brain region associated with parenting, making them more sensitive and enriching their network.
