Researchers suggest super-bright light sources powered by quasiparticles

Scientists from around the world are exploring the use of quasiparticles to create super bright light sources. These particles, created when multiple electrons move together, have the ability to move faster than light and withstand extreme forces. Light sources utilizing quasiparticles could provide a smaller and more practical alternative to existing options like free electron lasers. The research suggests that these light sources could be used for a range of applications, including non-destructive imaging, studying biological processes, and investigating celestial bodies.
